Canelo Bud

Canelo Bud takes on the challenge.

…I’d like to know how big this ring is….
Terence Crawford starts out as a lightweight world champion and Canelo as a welterweight youth champion…
Two pro careers strategically built for both champions. Both formidable.

Canelo is a fighter with superb natural technique, devastating power when he decides to work, and a jaw of granite. In some matches, his technical intelligence is evident in his ability to exchange blows only on his terms and dodge like a mongoose.
Bud is surgical, he doesn’t hurt, he’s not devastating, but he’s so precise that he puts you to sleep… he’s definitely smaller, he’s grown for this match (in our opinion by three categories), but he’s very strong… the only flaw is that we don’t know how strong his jaw is… we don’t know how he would have faced a Bivol and then taken some punches… we don’t know and we’ll never know…
The match is on a knife edge… they will make the difference… one of the two… Canelo’s team’s game plan is obvious… (if Canelo had Bud’s corner, he would have more problems)…

The match will be very technical. Neither fighter fears the other, as we saw in their face-off. Canelo will try to land his combination, Bud will move and anticipate it, and his punches will be able to stop him. That’s the real question. In close-range fighting, where Canelo excels, Bud will be there, and how he’ll be there… His coach is a genius. And I’m sure that if necessary, he’ll make him work hard in the clinch… I’m sure of it because if Canelo gets in close and lands that hook, it will be a big problem for Bud. However, we are sure that Terence’s jaw is rock solid…
A tactical match with incredible acceleration and timing, great defense, and high-quality exchanges… and here I think Bud will have to be more careful… because Saul should be as tough as a rock… tactics and mindset will do the rest… we see it leaning slightly towards Terence because with his speed and better physical integrity, he should win on points because we think he is more technically gifted… the doubt is about the cin… specifying that we know nothing about how the preparation is going for both of them… how the sparring went… and how the work of both boxers is progressing… another doubt is the jump in category… the advantage is that Bud’s corner is superb, while Canelo’s, in our opinion, is not as good as the boxer himself… we would like to be there…

Bud’s arms are longer and he’s faster…it’s sure to be a very exciting match…Bud won’t face him head-on, even though the temptation is very strong given their face-to-face encounter…and Canelo wants to trade blows face to face…he knows he’s stronger there…we’ll see a great match in the phases where these guys decide to put on a show for us…
