Itauma and Fundora Win
We had to be there tonight! The era of future heavyweight world champion Moses Itauma has officially begun. (At the end of the first round, he was about to land a blow when he heard the bell and stopped—a reflex within a reflex—which really impressed me)… . Facing him was an excellent puncher, Franklin, who made A.J. go the distance for twelve rounds. Last night, this athlete’s promotion team can start making different plans; there was someone at ringside already sweating because here lies Talent—and that kind of Talent you can’t teach in the gym… What can I say about the match? Absolute dominance. Our Thruman lost… wrong game plan, and history doesn’t get rewritten. Fundora is on top, he’s young, and Keith HAS to hang up his gloves—he can’t compete at this level… and yesterday it was really sad to see him take all those punches… WE WERE sure his game plan would be perfect, but instead it was a disaster; the rest was down to natural ability and the historical gap. One Time has had his day, and Fundora will write new pages of history. He seemed much more thoughtful in his attacks and cautious, and his defense also appears to have improved. Seeing him like that, it wasn’t a match he should have taken on…
