Benavidez!!!
On Saturday evening, the show that was put on was incredible.
Haney defeated Norman Jr., whom we mistakenly believed to be more capable in this category… The Dream’s speed and technique really made the difference… Brian was completely absent, which we regret, but that’s boxing.
Rodriguez dominated an indomitable Martinez in a truly beautiful, intense match, with Bam’s technical superiority never ceasing to amaze… He boxes like it’s a protocol… he finishes the series, brings his hand back, waits for the series, and in the meantime, he has already defended himself… incredible, truly incredible… and the Argentine is a really, really good fighter… and that punch that ends the match with the second right, I go out and come back in… he’s from another planet, really!!!!!!!
David is in a different league…
Yarde failed tactically and, in our opinion, with a better tactic he could have made it to the end of the match. The referee gave David a bit of leeway and he was officially warned; that said, what scares us is his ability to work at close and medium range as if he were the same height as his opponents… He took a few unexpected blows, but what can you say… Yarde, but above all, team… how can you think of bothering a man like that with single blows or two-punch combos… poor guy, with a different coach and team, he could have done much, much better… Yarde is a great man and we really like him as a boxer, but David is a true champion.
